How much does it cost to engage an investigator?
In most circumstances hourly rates apply; for surveillance this includes the agent's travel to and from a location and time spent observing. Background investigations are usually based on a set fee or budget, with scope for further work if required. Other matters may need a more tailored approach, which we address against your specific requirements.
Will the information I provide be kept confidential?
All communications are initially briefed to one person, usually a Director or Senior Manager, in person, by email or by another arrangement. Investigators are briefed only on what they need. Information is limited to those working on the file and stored securely.
Do you provide these services around Australia and overseas?
We routinely cover all capital cities and major regional areas; for remote areas we assess viability and cost of sending a team member. Overseas, we can engage an associate partner or send an Australian investigator. Several of our agents have experience in the Middle East, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and India.
How do I know if I need a private investigator?
